MESA, Ariz. – Join us for a special day of fun and entertainment during Weather or Not Family Day at the i.d.e.a. Museum. Experience a winter wonderland, a special puppet show and more as children of all ages participate in art and hands-on activities that showcase the wonder and beauty of weather.

 When: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019

Where: i.d.e.a. Museum, 150 W. Pepper Place, Mesa, AZ

Featured Family Day activities

  • Catch a performance of the Fuzzy Beard Puppet Show, followed by a treasure hunt in ArtVille, as well as trivia for all ages in the Atrium
  • Experience a Winter Wonderland featuring “snowball” fights, snowman art and icicle painting
  • Learn about floods from the Flood Control District of Maricopa County
  • Enjoy a Leaf Raking activity in ArtVille
  • See some exciting experiments in the Weather Lab

 

Plus, be sure to check out our jungle-themed black light room and activities in the HUB   Gallery and ArtVille (socks-only space aimed at little ones 0-4 years old). Family Day activities are included with museum admission, which is $9 for ages 1 and up; free for members. Memberships start at $55.
