A message from Executive Director Sunnee O’Rork on behalf of the i.d.e.a. Museum Foundation:

There is an amazing opportunity to bring the i.d.e.a. Museum’s Atrium to life and make a difference in the lives of children.

As you know, the i.d.e.a. Museum recently reopened due to a community need for families to have experiences that bring joy to their lives in this challenging time. Our Atrium offers a wonderful space for families, but we need your help to invest in educational programming for our visitors outdoors.

Can I count on you to help us raise $25,000 by December 11?

A donation today will bring engaging interactives that support early learning, nurture creativity and engage families in quality time to our outdoor space – just as they do inside the museum.

Feel good supporting the Atrium’s renovation. Adding fun interactives that are accessible to families in our community help caregivers provide opportunities for meaningful play that supports the development of children’s brains and spark imagination.

Will you help bring that space to life for our community?

A $25 donation, for example, will make it possible to provide supplies such as rocks that a child can paint and then place in our creative rock garden, or even take home.

$50 helps pay for art supplies to make a fairy or gnome for the garden and provide a sense of wonder

$75 aids in planting steel flowers that spark imagination and create the musical flowers garden

$100 helps buy a relaxing fountain or water feature

$250 goes toward underwriting a fun mural created by a professional artist

$350 supports an aquaponics wall

$500 assists with bringing an outside activity enclosure

Will you help us reach our goal?

I recognize the current economic condition may have impacted your ability to give, but I know that you understand the importance of early learning in a child’s life.  Even though the i.d.e.a. Museum is a City of Mesa museum, 35% of its funding comes from donors through the i.d.e.a. Museum Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit support organization, so I appreciate your support.

Thank you for making it possible to bring the i.d.e.a. Museum’s Atrium to life with your gift today!
