Art Start: Kinder Readiness Camp - Session 2

Each of our three summer camps have two sessions with different projects each week!

Our Kinder Readiness camp is a creative, fun and engaging program designed to prepare young children for the transition into kindergarten through arts-based learning and imaginative play. The camp focuses on building social, emotional and academic skills in a playful, supportive environment. Activities are designed to promote early literacy, fine and gross motor skills and cooperative play through the arts.

Children must be potty trained. If an accident happens, parents will be called to come pick up their child. Staff cannot change clothing.

All camp spots are first come, first served. Limited spots available.

Project Examples

Children will create and enact their own stories; Participate in music and movement sessions; Have free play time in the Museum; engage with various centers that focus on literacy, early childhood skills and creativity.
